South Summit 2016

Our mission is to gather the greatest innovations from Southern Europe & Latam and connect them to some of the regions’ largest customers and investors. We do this through South Summit, an annual gathering of Southern Europe and Latam´s top talent. With more than 7.000 attendees, including 3.500 entrepreneurs and 450 investors South Summit has become one of Europe’s most relevant startup up events.

This started from humble beginnings in 2012 when our Founder María Benjumea decided to empower the entrepreneur ecosystem fostering relationships between Startups, Corporations and Investors creating Spain Startup & Investor Summit (SSIS).

In 2014 we incorporated the international markets and we renamed us as “South Summit” with the aim of becoming the largest showcase of entrepreneurial ecosystem in southern Europe and Latin America.

Since then, our team keeps working to build year by year a meeting point of international relevance, to show to the world the best startups from south and remain one of the leading startup conferences in Europe.

This year we aim to take deep dives into everything from Health to Fashion, Food to Fintech or Energy to Edtech.
